Chester: Blatant
Finished second behind Lily Agnes runner-up Ocean Cloud and this race could fall into his lap from stall 1. Couple of obvious front-runners who might not last home in soft conditions.
The best horse doesn’t always win at Chester due to the draw bias and that might just be enough to see Blatant win for the first time. His second place behind Ocean Cloud received a timely boost as that horse finished second in the Lily Agnes on Wednesday.
Drawn in stall one, I expect Charles Bishop to adopt a stalking role as Democracy Dilemma and Explicit likely battle it out up front. I suspect neither will last home going quick on soft ground and Blatant will be there to pick up the pieces.
