Chesptow Tip: Lorna Cole

Impressive winner at Windsor, setting strong pace but still able to clock fastest closing sectional. Carries more weight but drops down in class and her rivals have shown precious little form.

Lorna Cole has a 5lbs penalty to overcome in the 5.30 Chepstow but in truth the handicapper could make her run the race backwards and she’d still win.

At Windsor she cut out a strong pace but was still the fastest closer, winning in a fair time for the grade. However, her lowly rating means she is actually dropping down in class which means this task should be easier.

Still relatively lightly raced, she has won 3/13 at the minimum trip and her strike rate is envied by the rest of the field. It’s very hard to see what will trouble her. She can make her own running and if she handles the track should win easily.
