Chepstow Tips: Secret Millionaire
Potential gamble developing. Won a veteran’s handicap last year and returns to his optimum trip.
Over the years, Secret Millionaire has been the subject of numerous plots and another potential gamble could be landed in the 3.15 Chepstow.
He first caught the eye on New Year’s Eve when he came out fourth best after sectional upgrades in a class 4 handicap over a trip that stretched his stamina.
He then ran a good time for the grade on 17 February, again over a trip further than ideal.
All eight of his career wins have come at 5f and it is good to see him return to that distance this afternoon.
Furthermore, he is racing in a veteran’s handicap limited to 6-year-olds and over. The last time he won was under the same conditions at Salisbury in June.
Secret Millionaire is 1/1 over today’s course and distance, a maiden winner at the track as a two-year-old.
There has been some early support and with the evidence stacking up he is a good bet at 8/1 (Bet365).
