Chepstow Tips: Holy Tiber
Wasn't fancied on debut but won nicely, in a good time for the grade. Likely to be better over further.
Holy Tiber wasn’t expected to do much on debut when sent off at 20/1 but she won an above average auction stakes in good style. Always travelling comfortable, she quickened up well and had the race under control despite drifting to the stand’s rail.
After adjusting for pace, she earned an adjusted speed rating of 82, marking her out as decidedly useful. In the 2.00 Chepstow she has to carry a 4lbs penalty but she should improve for the step up in trip. Her pedigree is of a 1m+ horse and the extra furlong should play to her stamina.
Having won on soft, rain would not hinder her cause and she is a likeable filly.
