Supreme Novices’ Hurdle Tips: Un Atout
Facile winner on both his outings this season and could be anything. Losing bets in the Supreme refunded as free bet with BetVictor.
The Supreme Novices’ Hurdle (1.30 Cheltenham) is a minefield because we are dealing with rapidly improving horses. The first to show his hand was My Tent Or Yours and that makes him poor value.
Nicky Henderson’s six-year-old routed a decent field in the Betfair Hurdle, picking up £87,000 for his troubles. I suspect that was his target rather than Cheltenham and he might still be feeling the effects of a hard race.
At the opposite end of the scale, Un Atout has barely broken sweat in two victories this season. There could be any amount of improvement left in him and he should better his last RPR of 153 racing against better opposition.
Currently a best price 7/1 for the Supreme, I recommend backing Un Atout at 13/2 with BetVictor.
BetVictor are refunding losses of up to £50 on the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle as a free bet*, therefore I recommend taking the slightly lower 13/2 knowing that we can’t lose on the race.
