Supreme Novices' Hurdle Tips: Tetlami
Following the same path as 2010 winner Menorah. Ran only 2.2 seconds slower than Binocular did on Boxing Day at Kempton.
The 1.30 Cheltenham is a strong renewal of the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and Tetlami is the horse who interests me most.
One of only three unbeaten hurdlers in the field, he was a fine winner at Kempton on Boxing Day. He saw off the useful Vulcanite in a protracted duel up the home straight, pulling 20-lengths clear of the third placed horse. Menorah took the same race before winning the 2010 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.
Tetlami stopped the clock at 3m52.80s, only 2.2 seconds slower than the subsequent Christmas Hurdle. That was a race run at a good gallop and won by Champion Hurdle second favourite – Binocular.
