Chelmsford Tips: Zac Brown

Zac Brown has been largely disappointing this season and having once looked like a potential 100+ sprinter he now finds himself scrabbling around in claiming company.

With an all-weather mark of 92, he’s going to struggle to win a handicap but there is hope. Last time out he was only beaten 3.5 lengths at Wolverhampton, a race that was won by the progressive Upstaging and they went a solid gallop, which gives the form a robust look.

Go back three starts on the all-weather and Zac Brown was winning a class 2 handicap. Although unlikely to recapture that level, he has enough ability to beat a rum-bunch who have lost their way.
