Chelmsford Tips: Santiburi Spring
Rated a rank outsider on her first two starts but only beaten 2.25 lengths last time and ran the fastest closing sectional.
Santiburi Spring has been sent off at 66/1 and 50/1 in two starts to date but she’s shaped better than her odds suggest.
Last time out she ran in snatches but was only beaten 2.25 lengths despite finishing seventh. She doesn’t seem the most straight-forward of horses but she’s young and still learning her trade.
Although we don’t have a speed rating for her last performance, due to the new 7f distance at Chelmsford, she ran the fastest closing sectional in what appears to be at least an average maiden.
Well drawn in stall 1, she can outrun her odds in the 4.05 contest.
