Has beaten 78.5% of his rivals in 2016 and unlucky not have more than a solitary win to his name this season.
Rousayan has been supremely consistent in 2016 and deserves to win another race. In nine starts this year he has beaten 78.5% of his rivals, often running good times in the process.
Four starts back he was desperately unlucky at Ripon, when he was denied a clear run and last time out he was only beaten 0.25 lengths at Haydock having been well backed on the day.
Shelley Birkett knows the horse well having ridden him three times this season and she takes off a useful 3lbs. Stall 4 is ideal for a stalking ride and although a career best is needed to win off 88 he’s up to the task.
