Chelmsford Tips: Pinwood
Burst into life last time at Lingfield winning in a good time for the grade. Can go on and win again.
Pinwood had shown preciously little in four starts for Adam West but everything came together last time out at Lingfield. Sent off at 25/1, he came home a comfortable 3 length winner but it was no fluke.
Held-up in rear behind a steady pace, John Egan made a bold mid-race move to get to the front and grab the contest by the scruff of the neck. Pinwood quickened up nicely and was not for catching, running an adjusted speed rating of 76 in the process.
Rated in the 80s during his three-year-old career, he’s apparently shows plenty at home. Now he’s showing it on the track and can win again.
