Chelmsford Tips: Nimble Kimble
Running much better than recent results suggest and nothing can match her turn of foot.
Nimble Kimble has been the subject of an early gamble in the 4.10 Chelmsford and it is easy to see why.
She’s finished sixth and seventh on her last two starts but wasn’t beaten far and ran good sectional times.
On her penultimate start at Kempton she was second fastest on sectionals, staying on well from the rear on her first start in five months.
At Lingfield, she ran a scorching 21.9s two-furlong split having raced behind a steady early pace. Franco’s Secret (winner again since) took the plaudits but Nimble Kimble wasn’t far behind on sectional ratings.
This afternoon she takes a step up in trip but if she settles well, nothing will be able to match her finishing burst.
