Chelmsford Tips: Muzaahim
Has been off the track for 9 months but showed some ability last winter and class 6 handicap at a mile look his ideal conditions.
It’s been 281-days since we last saw Muzaahim but the way he finished his last race, abruptly, suggests he picked up some sort of injury. Whatever the issue, it’s taken a while to sort but he spent last winter on the all-weather and handles an artificial surface.
With only nine runs under his belt despite being a 5-year-old he is clearly fragile and the best time to catch him might be first time out after a break.
Last winter he ran with promise on a number of occasions and his penultimate run saw him crying out for a step up in trip and a drop down in grade. He has both in the 7.25 Chelmsford and although you have to take a gamble with his well-being at least he’s shown ability.
