Chelmsford Tips: Megaleka
A big improver over the past 12 months but a 21.73s sectional at Lingfield suggests she can still defy her mark.
Every time I think Megaleka has reached the limit of her ability, she goes and improves again and winning off a mark of 88 now looks entirely plausible.
Last time out she flew home in 21.73s at Lingfield and anything below 22s is useful. She couldn’t quite reel in the leaders that day but the 3.30 Chelmsford promises to suit.
With the likes of Royal Bajan and Masamah in the field, they should go a decent gallop and Megaleka is perfectly berthed in stall 4 to pick up the pieces.
She’s finished second over course and distance in February, returning after almost a 3-month break and she rarely runs a bad race.
