Chelmsford Tips: Markabah
Last time we saw her she was an unlucky loser at Thirsk when she let the winner enjoy a soft lead.
Markabah hasn’t seen a racetrack for 145 days but based on her last outing she must have a massive chance in the 5.05 Chelmsford.
Paul Hanagan let Calima Breeze enjoy a soft lead at Thirsk and behind a steady pace he was unable to bridge the gap. Markabah ran the fastest closing sectional and made up over 3 lengths in the final 3f but just run out of track.
She was the best horse that day and shouldn’t be long in her losing her maiden tag.
Roger Varian has an excellent 30% strike rate (6-20) with three-year-olds at Chelmsford and can add to his tally this afternoon.
