Won well over course and distance two starts back. Up in grade but the speed rating he earned in victory should keep him competitive.
Excellent George is 4lbs higher in the weights and up in grade compared to his win over course and distance in December but the time of that victory was impressive and he should still be competitive.
Relatively unexposed at 6f he is 2/10 over the distance and his adjusted speed rating of 79 two starts back matches his current mark. A regular at the track (1 win, 3 places form 8 starts) he is familiar with conditions and rarely runs a bad race.
