Chelmsford Tip: Corinthia Knight
Record on the all-weather at 5f is 1111 and confirmed his class by winning on Finals' Day. Ran well at Chester on return from a gelding operation.
Corinthia Knight has to carry 9-8 in the 7.20 Chelmsford but he is the class act in the field, especially on the all-weather. When racing on an artificial surface his record is 211131111, when you limit him to starts at 5f only it improves to 1111.
Gelded during the summer, he ran well on his return at Chester where those drawn inside him dominated the race as often happens at the track.
Corinthia Knight is a Listed/Group performer on the all-weather and he won’t get many more opportunities to race in a handicap; he can make the most of it on Friday evening.
