Chelmsford: Rocketeer
Has run consecutive good races at Chelmsford and has the early pace to handle a drop down in trip. Well drawn in stall two and has some upside in his profile and this not a good race.
The 5.15 Chelmsford is a bad race and Rocketeer is the least likely loser! Last time out he did too much in front and faded at the finish but it was a respectable effort. The time before he was the only horse to challenge Rockesbury, finishing a closed second; both performances coming at Chelmsford.
He drops down in trip this evening but has plenty of early pace and should be ridden handily from stall 2. He’s lightly raced and still a three-year-old with some upside. That alone could be enough.
