Celtic Artisan Unlucky Last Time
Full of running but trapped behind a wall of horses as the race got serious. Should go close with a clear passage.
Celtic Artisan finished a luckless second over course and distance a week ago and granted a clear passage he should go close in the 5.45 Wolverhampton.
Turning for home he was still travelling strongly but Danielle Mooney found herself trapped behind a wall of horses for at least a furlong with no way out. When horse and rider evertually got in the clear, the winner had flown.
Despite all the troubles, Celtic Artisan clocked the fastest closing sectional and was at least a length better than the winner. This evening he faces a slightly stiffer task in a 0-60 handicap but there is no reason why he shouldn’t go close again.
