Catterick Tip: Lagenda

Catterick Tip: Lagenda

Another well handicapped Kevin Ryan horse finding his feet again after virus hit the yard. Jockey got pace wrong last time, doing too much in front.

As i’ve written previously, now is a good time to look at Kevin Ryan’s horses again. Earlier in the season the yard was shut down because of a herpes outbreak, no doubt the cause of some below-par performances. As a result plenty of his string are well handicapped now they are fit and healthy again.

Lagenda falls into that category and for the first time in his career he races off a mark in the 70s.

Last time out he set a very strong pace (94.6% finishing speed) and was tired at the end of the race, losing several places in the final furlong.

There is a danger he is lit up by first time blinkers but if Kevin Stott can judge the pace better, he could outrun his odds.
