Found 5f an inadequate test last time out at Ripon and connections have sensibly stepped him up in trip.
Kroy looked to be crying out for a step up in trip when third at Ripon last time out and connections have taken note and he races over 6f in the 2.00 Carlisle.
Hampered out of the gates, he was soon in rear but finished the race strongly, clocking the fastest closing sectional by 0.38s. In defeat, he earned an adjusted speed rating of 66 and although he’s no world beater he should win a little race.
He shouldn’t be inconvenienced by any cut in the ground having run reasonably well on soft at Beverley on debut and is overpriced by the market.
