Brighton Tips: Secret Missile
Would have won at least two of his last three starts if granted a stronger pace. He should get that this afternoon.
Secret Millionaire is subject to his customary gamble in the 2.30 Brighton but I think the bookmakers got the price right to start with.
With the favourite shortening, we can get 7/1(Stan James) about Secret Missile.
On sectional timings I had him as the best horse in two of his last three starts, although he won neither race.
At Lingfield and Brighton he raced in rear and because the leaders set an even gallop he couldn’t make up the deficit, losing by a length each time.
The 4-year-old needs fast ground, a stiff track and a strong pace and he should get all three this afternoon.
