Nottingham: Boundless Power

Tried to give weight to younger horses at Chelmsford and only just failed. Ran sectional adjusted speed rating of 78 and has ability. Not a straightforward horse but Mick Appleby will work him out.

Boundless Power might not be the more straightforward individual, he is still a maiden after 8 starts but he’s got plenty of ability. At Chelmsford he tried to give younger horses plenty of weight and was out battled by the potentially useful Cash Machine.

In defeat he earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 78, which rates him higher than his current handicap mark and plenty good enough to win a class 4 handicap.

My main concern is his attitude. He didn’t seem to put it all in at Chelmsford but first time cheek-pieces and more patient tactics could pay dividends. Boundless Power hasn’t been with Michael Appleby very long and his talented trainer could unlock his potential pretty soon.
