Beware Of Bint Arcano
Bint Arcano has run two rapid closing sectionals at Wolverhampton and an opening handicap mark of 72 looks lenient.
Bint Arcano was a non-runner on Friday due to coughing but I hope that was just an excuse to avoid a class 2 handicap for the easier pickings in the 5.30 Wolverhampton.
On her first UK start she motored home with a 22.2s closing sectional, at the time it was the fifth fastest at Wolverhampton from the last 4917 runners.
She built on that promise by winning a fair maiden at the start of the month. She earned an adjusted speed rating of 70 but again showed excellent speed by running the fastest closing sectional in the race by 0.67s. It was the third fastest closing sectional on the card bettered only by two 6f sprinters rated in the 100s.
The handicapper has given Bint Arcano a lenient opening handicap mark of 72 and she could be quite useful.
