Beverley Tips: Desert Law
Ex-Godolphin sprinter who has slipped to an attractive mark. Ran well at Doncaster when in need of the run.
Desert Law has a horror draw in stall 15 but apart from that, his claims in the 3.05 Beverley are strong.
The ex-Godolphin horse lost his way after a winter in Dubai in 2013/14 but at his best he is a useful sprinter.
He ran a good race at Windsor last June when fading after setting an overly strong pace and he shaped with encouragement at Doncaster last month on his first start for new connections.
I actually tipped him for the race and although he finished eighth, he was one of the last horses off the bridle.
Over the moon with Desert Law's first run today at Donny. Badly in need of it yet last off bridle and ran on well under hands and heels.
