Beverley Tip: Acclaim The Nation

Lightly raced individual who has won at the track before and is well drawn. Only seen twice in 2017 but won at Doncaster in fast time for the grade.

Acclaim The Nation was far too keen at Windsor on Monday but the combination of headgear and a run under his belt, could yield an improved performance. Under the circumstances the 5-year-old did quite well; he was only beaten 4.25 lengths despite racing wide.

This being only his tenth start, Acclaim The Nation is very lightly raced. Injuries might be the issue because we only saw him twice in 2017 but he’s got ability because his early season win at Doncaster produced a fast time.

He’s won at Beverley before, is well drawn and handles cut in the ground. He should run a good race.
