Bath Tips: Megaleka
Not particularly well treated at the weights but has been running better than the bare results of late.
There is plenty of racing to enjoy this afternoon but good betting opportunities are thin on the ground.
We have tipped Megaleka on numerous occasions recently and although the 6.10 Bath is her toughest task to date you cannot really go wrong backing her at 25/1.
All she did was improve last year, winning six times and reaching a rating of 90.
In a Listed race off joint-top weight, she doesn’t look well treated but I think she is potentially better than her mark.
At Lingfield she ran a rapid 21.73s closing sectional (anything below 22s is useful) and she didn’t fare badly in a conditions event last time at Nottingham.
A strongly run 5f is ideal and although this is the quickest ground she will have encountered she seems versatile regards the going.
There is some 28/1 floating around on Megaleka but I expect her to drift during the day so take 25/1 (Bet365) with a best odds guaranteed bookmaker.
