Bath Tip: Indian Sounds
Tumbled down the handicap from a peak of 89 and now sneaks into a class 6 handicap and not a strong one at that. Second in a better grade at Thirsk; a repeat should see him win easily.
The 5.10 Bath is a bad race and it would take some going for Indian Sounds not to win it. Rated as high as 89 when a 2-year-old he has fallen to a very workable mark of 65. It’s not often he’s qualified for class 6 contests and he should make the most of the drop in grade.
He ran well on his reappearance at Newcastle when poorly drawn in stall 1 and stepped up his form when second at Thirsk nine days ago. Beaten a neck, in a strong time for the grade, he ran significantly above his mark.
There are no obvious reasons why he wouldn’t do so again and against weaker opposition he could even regress from Thirsk and still win.
