Ayr Tips: Rural Celebration
Better than bare form when ninth in Listed contest. Set overly strong pace at trip beyond limits of her stamina.
The form of Kevin Ryan’s yard is a concern (3-52 last 14 days) but Rural Celebration is worth the risk given her price for the 3.50 Ayr.
Last time out she was beaten 5.75 lengths but that came in a Listed contest over a trip that stretches her stamina. In 5f races, her record is 5/18 compared to 1/14 at 6f and it didn’t help that David Nolan set an overly strong pace.
All things considered she did well to finish where she did and earned an adjusted speed rating of 82.
This afternoon she is more likely to dominate weaker opposition and won’t finish so tired over the minimum trip. Her handicap mark isn’t insurmountable (has won off 84 before), whilst she’s also scored over course and distance.
