Finish fifth in Listed company when setting an overly strong pace. Not beaten far and mark remains unchanged. This much more her level and has winning form at this track.
Merry Banter was outclassed in a Listed event over course and distance 16 days ago but he mark remains unchanged and this is much easier. To her credit Merry Banter was only beaten by 2.25 lengths and she was probably forced to go a stride quick trying to lead a better quality of opposition. In defeat she earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 72 and emerges with plenty of credit.
She ran well in class 3 company earlier in the season, particularly when third at Epsom and she’s won off this mark before. Given her efforts last time out she warrants a small wager.
