Has broken through in Listed/Group contests this season and his latest win at Newbury was visually impressive and good on the clock.
Mr Lupton is the best horse in the world; or he can appear so when rattling home off a strong pace. His win at Newbury was impressive and he has a habit of topping a 100 speed rating when given a good tow. A strike-rate of 7/36 is also impressive which means his backers aren’t prone to bursting into tears because he is rarely the bridesmaid.
This season we’ve seen Mr Lupton move and win in Listed/Group company but there is nothing to fear in this contest of handicappers.
