Laugh A Minute is the lowest rated horse in the 3.45 Ascot but if he continues where he left of last season at Doncaster then he is a serious sprint prospect. It took a while for the son of Mayson to find his feat but he dotted-up when dropped back half a furlong at Doncaster in September.

Tracking a solid gallop, he covered the final 3f in 35.69 which was the fastest closing sectional of the race by 0.49s. Adjusting for pace he earned a speed rating of 98 and we can assume he’s got better for Roger Varian over the winter. He handles cut in the ground and is overpriced on his reappearance.
