Ascot Tip: Dream Of Dreams
Performances have tailed off since his luckless defeat at Royal Ascot but that is still about the best form on offer. It isn't inconceivable that he bounces back at a big price.
There is an element of pocket talk with this tip because having backed Dream Of Dreams at Royal Ascot I feel like i’m owed a big win from the horse. Having said that, thinking rationally his head defeat to Blue Point in the Diamond Jubilee is just about the best form on offer.
Since then the 5-year-old has done precious little, he was well beaten in the Sprint Cup when sent off favourite but i’m willing to overlook that poor performance after he was bumped leaving the gates.
Ascot is a track he enjoys and although the going is a concern, he’s won (and run well) on soft before. It might be that the horse is simply out of form but his early season performance warrants an investment at the prices.
