Aintree Tips: Dream Berry
Finished well of a strong gallop at Kempton and connections alone suggest he should be shorter in the betting.
The combination of McManus, O’Neill and Geraghty warrant plenty of respect but their Dream Berry is overpriced in the 1.40 Aintree.
He’s a horse with some ability but is prone to bleeding, which has probably held back his development. Nevertheless, his record over hurdles is 311613 and he looks well treated off a mark of 133.
Last time out at Kempton he didn’t get the clearest of runs when closing off a solid gallop. He should have the race run to suit and can go close if finding the gaps. Back him each-way at 10/1 with Sky Bet and get 1/5 odds for a top-6 finish.
