Aid To Africa Generates Valuable Funds
Not fancied on debut judged by his SP but ran a cracker in defeat. Earning a sectional adjusted speed rating of 78.
Aid To Africa ran a promising debut over course and distance eight days ago and a repeat performance should be good enough to land the 2.15 Lingfield.
Not much was expected on debut (sent off at 20/1) but he clocked the fastest closing sectional (22.13s) and almost reeled in Theos Lolly, who enjoyed a soft lead all the way round.
Despite the pedestrian gallop (111.3% finishing speed) the overall time was ok and with sectional adjustments he earns an impressive speed rating of 78. It will take a useful horse to beat him.
