Abi Scarlet Can Remain Undefeated

The 3.40 Southwell is a good little race and I expect it will produce several winners in the coming months.

Hannahs Turn is the obvious starting point with six course victories and although she still seems to be improving the market has her covered.

At a bigger price, I really like the chances of Abi Scarlet. She only won a seller on her last start but she triumphed by five lengths in a quick time. The track was riding faster than usual but she completed the final 3f in approximately 35.7s - an impressive feat.

Reassuringly it wasn’t a flash in the pan. She is now unbeaten in four starts over course and distance and although she’s clearly had her problems, she was awarded a Racing Post Rating of 90 at her peak.
