A Winning Strategy
My Strategy is a consistent handicapper who ran a good speed rating at Epsom despite chasing an overly strong pace.
My Strategy seems to have plateaued after winning at Chelmsford City in April, with a string of placed efforts and little else but his latest run at Epsom was better than it appeared.
Chasing an overly strong pace (the early leader finished last even though he was 2/1f) he had nothing in reserve to battle the progressive Bakht A Rawan.
Despite finishing third he ran a pace adjusted speed rating of 70, which is usually good enough to win a class 5 handicap like the 4.00 Nottingham.
