Zurich Classic Tips: Luke Guthrie
Finished T8 last year and although recent results aren’t spectacular, he arrives in New Orleans in better form than 12 months ago.
Luke Guthrie is one of a number of exciting young golfers on the PGA Tour and the 24-year-old can approach the Zurich Classic with confidence.
Last year he made 20 birdies en route to a T8 finish at TPC Louisiana and although he doesn’t arrive in much form it was a similar story last year.

2013: MC-T40-MC-MC
I’m happy to ignore Guthrie’s most recent results and put it down to unsuitable courses because generally his form over the last six months has been good.
He recorded top-5 finishes at the BMW Masters and Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in October and looks capable of winning at this level.
At 125/1 (Betfair Sportsbook) he is a cracking each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
