Zurich Classic Tips: Josh Teater

Having enjoyed three weeks off, Josh Teater was perhaps slightly rusty at the Heritage last weekend and I’m happy to ignore his T71 finish, on a course that didn’t suit him.

Ranked 35th for driving distance and 32nd for par breakers, Teater is the sort of player who enjoys giving it a rip and making birdies, therefore TPC Louisiana should be right up his street.

Last year’s winning score was 19-under par and I expect players will need to shoot a similar number again. This is well within Teater’s capabilities as he’s finished T16 twice in New Orleans.

For a player ranked 27th in the FedEx Cup standings he is massively overpriced at 150/1 (Ladbrokes) and a great each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
