Wyndham Championship: Patton Kizzire
4/4 cuts made at Sedgefield CC and arrives on form with two top-3s on tour already this season. Last two starts, ranked inside top-10 for strokes gained off tee - good news for often wayward driver.
Patton Kizzire has never missed a cut at Sedgefield Country Club with finishes of 53-24-13-51. Within that run he’s only shot two under-par rounds and is not far away from contending.
Kizzire biggest weakness is his driving, it can be quite wayward and that is why is ranked 139th on tour for strokes gained off the tee. The good news is he’s found something recently; in his last two starts he’s ranked inside the top-10 off the tee.
Combine that with his usually excellent putting and Kizzire looks ready to add to his two PGA Tour wins.
