Reedy For The Weekend

Reed All About It

More acclimatised than most after consecutive top-10s in Asia in the past two weeks. Finished T22 last year without holing a putt.

Of the main protagonists in China this week there are probably none more acclimatised to conditions than Patrick Reed.

This is the third consecutive week that Reed tees it up in Asia and he is in good form after a T3 at the Honk Kong Open and a T10 at the CIMB Classic. If you include the Presidents Cup then it’s been almost a month since he started his stint in the Far East.

It’s been a while since the 25-year-old tasted victory (Tournament of Champions in January) but his form has been good all year, as he’s added consistency to his game.

Reed finished T22 on his first look at Sheshan last year but a poor putting performance, where he ranked 68th in putts per GIR depressed his result.

The experience will help him improve on the greens and at 40/1 (Paddy Power) he is a good each-way bet.
