WGC Bridgestone Tips: Brooks Koepka
Runner-up twice in his last three starts and threw in a T13 at the US Open for good measure. Sixth on debut last year.
Brooks Koepka fluffed his lines when throwing away the Byron Nelson but considering he made a play-off without playing his best stuff bodes well.
We were on at 35/1 that day and although we have to take a lower price as a result of that bold showing, the big hitting American finished T2-T13 on his next two starts.
Last season Koepka finished sixth on his debut at Firestone and it is a course that should suit him on paper. Measuring 7,400 yards, it is a chunky par-70 but you can afford to miss fairways, Tiger Woods managed to win here eight times after-all!
Koepka is still searching for his first win on tour this season and is a fair bet at 20/1 (Paddy Power) with 1/5 odds for a top-6 finish.
