Piercy Screams Value

Piercing Screams Value

Yet to make the cut in four attempts but a much better golfer then when he last played the course in 2010.

Scott Piercy has an inauspicious record at Quail Hollow, having yet to make the cut in four attempts but it still holds an important place in his career. The Wachovia Championship, as it was known then, gave Piercy his first two starts on the PGA Tour.

The 36-year-old returns for the first time since 2010 and is a completely different golfer now.

He is a two-time winner on tour and is getting back to his best after an injury hit 2014.

Piercy was runner-up in the Sony Open at the start of the year and last month cracked the top-10 at the Shell Houston Open.

Missed cuts in New Orleans and The Players weren’t ideal but overall he is enjoying a good season and his power off the tee will be an asset this week.

At 160/1 (Bet365) he is a lively outsider with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
