Hollow Victory

Hollow Victory

Phil Mickelson is still chasing his first win at the course but has seven top-10s to his name.

Phil Mickelson is winless at Quail Hollow but his course record is outstanding.

He has seven top-10 finishes in eleven visits to the North Carolina venue and his T11 last year would have been so much better but for a poor final round.

Lefty has become more inconsistent as the years pass but he still shows up well at his favourite venues. Last month he finished second at Augusta to prove he can still mix it with the best.

Apart from Rory McIlroy, this Wells Fargo doesn’t have a particularly strong field and Mickelson is a good each-way bet at 25/1 with Bet365.
