Web com Tour Championship Tips: Adam Svensson

The Web.com season finishes with the Tour Championship; this week being held at Atlantic Beach Country Club for the first time. It is the last opportunity for players to gain a PGA Tour card and has produced some high-quality winners over the years.

At the start of the season I thought Adam Svensson was one of the more likely candidates for promotion but things haven’t gone entirely to plan for the Canadian.

Svensson has made plenty of cuts (14), including two during the Finals but is still lacking a really high finish with nothing better than T9. His last win came during Web.com Q-School, when he trounced the field by 7 shots and a return to Florida should bring back happy memories.

This is the first time the Web.com Tour has returned to the Sunshine State since Q-School and the different conditions could catch some players out. That won’t be the case for Svensson who now calls Florida home and it might herald a return to the form that saw him scorch through the latter half of 2015.
