Texas Open: Greyson Sigg

Impressive on Korn Ferry Tour last season and settled well at a higher level, consistently making weekends and gaining experience. Finished T59 here last year and gained strokes tee-to-green.

Greyson Sigg was one of the better players to progress from the Korn Ferry Tour last season, winning twice in 2021. The transition to the PGA Tour has been a good one; making 7 of his last 8 cuts but finishing no higher than T25.

With the Masters next week and a slightly weaker field; this provides to perfect opportunity for a player with more modest aspirations to take a hand. Sigg also has the benefit of having finish T59 here last year.

Dig a little deeper and he played better than the bare form. His ball-striking was on song, ranking in the top-30 for strokes gained off the tee and with approaches. Unfortunately he lots several strokes on and around the greens but that variance can easily be corrected year-to-year.
