Utah Championship Tips: Kent Bulle

Utah Championship Tips: Kent Bulle

Upturn in form since qualifying for US Open and should be accustomed to playing at altitude from his LatinoAmerica days.

After finishing second on the LatinoAmerica Tour order of merit big things were expected of Kent Bulle but 2016 has been something of a struggle.

The 27-year-old languishes 128th in the money list and needs to get a wriggle on to secure his card for next season.

The good news is that Bulle is upbeat about his game and there have been glimmers of hope. He qualified for the US Open and although he missed the cut at Oakmont he’s made two of his last three cuts on the Web.com Tour.

Bulle’s problem has been stringing four good rounds together. Six times this season he has opened with rounds in the 60s including shooting a 63 and 64 in the last month. The challenge is to keep his tournament going.

Last week at the Lincoln Land Challenge he recorded his second best finish of the year (T33) and there were positive signs across all four days. One of the best drivers on tour (9th in total driving) he should also be comfortable at altitude having played in South America and might be set for a big week at 200/1 (Skybet).
