USPGA Championship Tips: Kevin Stadler

Putting is his obvious weakness but he’s a big price considering he’s a winner on tour this season and has made the cut in all three majors.

Backing Kevin Stadler should come with a health warning but at 200/1 he’s worth the risk.

The ‘baby walrus’ is a famously bad putter, he ranks 174th for strokes gained putting and has the yips but apart from that his game is sound.

Stadler sits 28th in the FedExCup standings and has made the cut in all three majors this season finishing T8-T63-T39.

Crucially he is also a winner on the PGA Tour this year.

He rather fell over the line at the Phoenix Open but it still counts as a win, although we also saw his frailties when blowing a four shot lead in the Open de France.

However, at 200/1 (Paddy Power) he can throw away a tournament and still generate us a good profit with a top-6 finish.
