US PGA Championship Tip: Marc Leishman

US PGA Championship Tip: Marc Leishman

Enjoying a marvellous season. Won the Arnold Palmer, placed at the Open and fourth in adjusted scoring average on tour.

Marc Leishman came with a tremendous late rattle to land us some place money at the Open Championship and we should reinvest some of those winnings in the US PGA Championship.

The 33-year-old has enjoyed a tremendous season winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational and has been free-rolling since then. Without a missed cut on the PGA Tour since The Players, Leishman bagged two top-6 finishes in July and is playing better than ever.

Leishman has gone T43-T27-T6 in the three major championships this season and although the Open is probably his strongest event he is 5/6 in cuts made at the US PGA with a T12 best in 2013. Ranked fourth in adjusted scoring average this season he should be higher up the betting.
