USPGA Championship Tips: Kevin Na

Runner-up at the Memorial Tournament, another Nicklaus designed course, and ranked second on tour for scrambling.

After an injury plagued 12 months, Kevin Na has returned to form and he can outrun his odds at the USPGA.

The 30-year-old is a relatively late bloomer, winning for the first time on the PGA Tour at the 211th attempt.  Like Jimmy Walker, that victory has lifted his game to another level and he is a capable of winning a major.

Na finished T12 at the US Open earlier in the year, one of twelve top-25s he’s recorded on tour this season.

His best result was a second place at the Memorial Tournament where he lost in a play-off to Hideki Matsuyama. Like Valhalla, that result came on a Jack Nicklaus designed course, which bodes well for this week.

Occasionally errant off the tee, Na is unlikely to be punished too severely by the course set-up and is a cracking each-way bet at 150/1 (William Hill) with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
