ULF Championship Tips: Cody Gribble
Finished T9 last year and was T14 in a Boys event at the course back in 2008. Found some form with a T18 last week in Mexico.
We found last year’s winner of the ULF Championship hidden amongst a Boys championship event from 2008. That player turned out to be Smylie Kaufman and it’s worth revisiting that form.
In 2008 Victoria National GC hosted the Rolex Tournament of Champions and sat in fourteenth place was none other than Cody Gribble.
That might seem like a spurious link but Gribble returned to the same venue last year on the Web.com Tour and finished T9 having been in the mix after the first two rounds.
Victoria National is one of the toughest courses on tour but it seems to suit Gribble and could spark a return to form. It’s been a quiet year so far for the 25-year-old but he finished T18 last week in Mexico and remember this way a player who just missed out on a tour card after finishing 27th on the money list.
At 150/1 (Skybet) he is a cracking each-way bet.
